Training and Development the Sloane Cleaning way!
Most of our cleaning operatives are recruited by recommendations from friends and family of existing staff. We do not recruit cleaning operatives via agencies, newspaper advertisements or job centres.
We are not a franchise so of all our staff are employed directly by Sloane Cleaning Services. This ensures a centralised and more direct point of contact between you and us, so if there is ever a problem you are not speaking to an intermediary franchisee. You will always be speaking directly to us at Sloane Cleaning Services.
Everyone who applies for a cleaning job at Sloane Cleaning Services is required to pass a week’s long induction process where they have to attend our training school so ensure all staff are punctual, polite, speak English, have a valid NI number, permits etc.
During this week, we also teach the intake the principles of office cleaning which, incidentally, is not the same as domestic cleaning due to the presence of many delicate surfaces and technological equipment which have to be treated with great care.
If our new cleaning applicant has passed our week’s induction, then they are given spring cleaning jobs or are part of a supervised team. Once we are confident in our new cleaner’s ability, they are then given a cleaning job working on their own.
Once employed our cleaning operatives are given ongoing onsite training and development to ensure they are aware of the latest cleaning technology and health & safety regulations.
